Hickory Drum
Has anyone used Pro-Mark Japanese oak drumsticks?
I’ve been using Pro-mark American Hickory 5B drumsticks for the last year. I’ve been going through a pair of sticks in about 2-3 weeks of playing, 1 hour most days and usually 2-4 hours when I practice with my bands. I’m curious about the life span of the Pro-Mark Japanese Oak Drum sticks. Thanks!
Yeah, & I didn’t care for’em. The wood is more dense, so they can take more punishment, but in my opinion they also sound like your playing w/aluminum coated sticks.
I started using Vic-Firth sticks about 8-9 years ago, & now I’ll never play using anything but. They are the world’s greatest pair of sticks……Here, check it out for yourself.
